Biography

Matt has experience as a Certified Public Accountant and has worked extensively in corporate and state tax helping both large and small businesses. His areas of focus have included corporate incorporation, reorganization, like kind exchange transactions, sales and use taxes, real property tax valuations and complaints, and real property tax exemptions. He has also assisted several non-profit entities in the areas of incorporation and charitable contributions. He has worked extensively with the Southwest Ohio Tax Institute and speaks on a variety of federal and state tax issues. 

Matt’s favorite thing about his job is the diversity of his clients. “I work with clients with only one employee to Fortune 500 companies with employees across the globe,” he says. Matt works with clients of all numbers, sizes, shapes and types. “It’s fun to learn about all the great products our clients create and the services they provide.” Matt is also known for his prompt service and his ability to keep the client informed as to new developments. 

Matt is most proud of his wife, Katie, and his two children. He is also an enthusiastic college basketball fan, especially for his alma mater, Indiana University. He and Katie have both been active with the IU Alumni Association.
