Biography

April joined the Firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group in 2006.  Her practice is focused in labor and employment law, and employment immigration.  Prior to joining GH&R, April served as a Human Resources Manager of an international retail optical company, and practiced immigration pro bono.  Her experience as a Human Resources Manager gives her a unique perspective that allows her to understand and appreciate her clients' needs and issues.  She has also served as a law clerk for the United States Attorney, Southern District of Ohio.  April also served on active duty in the United States Army as a Personnel Officer at various posts, including a tour as an English Instructor at The United States Military Academy, West Point.  April was born in Puerto Rico, and now resides in West Chester with her husband and two children.

April is a member of the Firm’s Community Service Team and Women's Professional Development Group.
