Everett L. Greene

Biography

A former GH&R Summer Associate in the 2002 Class, Ev joined the firm’s Cincinnati office in 2003 and practices in labor and employment and workplace health and safety issues. His favorite part of his job is making oral arguments at workers’ compensation hearings. He is the editor of the firm’s HR Matters newsletter which updates employers on recent developments in human resources law. 

Ev, a U.S. Navy Veteran and retired Captain, describes his proudest moment as when he became a Navy SEAL. According to Ev, “SEALs are renowned for their skills in the water. After failing swimming my first three years at the Naval Academy, no one gave me a chance to become a SEAL.” Ev overcame the odds and had a successful 30-year career as a Navy SEAL.

Originally from Cincinnati and a graduate of Walnut Hills High School, Ev resides Downtown with his wife, Violy. They are active in their church, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Avondale. Ev routinely serves as a lay reader and occasionally conducts lay services.
