Biography
Kara's practice is Commercial Dispute Resolution. Kara has represented clients in a wide variety of complex business disputes, including unfair competition, false advertising and antitrust matters. In addition to handling a variety of matters before state and federal courts, Kara has also represented clients in international arbitrations.
Kara often uses mediation and arbitration as a cost-effective means of dispute resolution and has mediated many cases to resolution. When these alternative dispute resolution methods are unsuccessful, Kara is an effective, passionate and reasoned advocate for her clients.
Kara has a strong work ethic and is committed to client service. She makes it a priority to provide regular, prompt communication with clients and coworkers.
Throughout her career, Kara has been active in the community. She is currently active with the Cincinnati Bar Association, young Lawyers Committee. She is on the Executive Committee for the local chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Kara is a member of the Firm’s
Women's Professional Development Group and Community Service Team through which she has taken part in a number of community service projects for local nonprofits and charities.
Kara resides in Liberty Township with her husband, Mike, and daughter, Olivia. Outside of work, Kara enjoys running, playing soccer and boating.
