GH&R has assisted clients both as licensors and licensees in a wide variety of industries, including clients engaged in the software, manufacturing, healthcare, insurance, communications and biotechnology industries. We have prepared, reviewed and negotiated numerous software licenses for both custom and shrink wrap software on behalf of our clients as licensors and as licensees of third party software. Such software has covered a multitude of business purposes ranging from specific products to enterprise-wide resource planning covering the entire scope of business office functions. In connection with our representation of both software licensees and licensors, we have also prepared, reviewed and negotiated many agreements for application service providers, software maintenance and source code escrows.
Our firm’s licensing practice includes five partners, each of whom has been practicing for 15 years or more.
