We know how important it is to proactively manage significant workers’ compensation claims.
When a claim is valid, you want to get your injured employee back to work as quickly and safely as possible and control the cost of the claim. If a claim is questionable, you want to challenge it as vigorously as possible.
We also know that a workers’ compensation claim often includes other HR issues too – like the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Experience
- Providing strategic management of significant workers’ compensation claims, working closely with clients and their third party administrator (TPA).
- Representing clients before the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Industrial Commission of Ohio and Ohio’s trial and appellate courts in significant workers’ compensation cases.
- Teaming with clients and their TPA in regular claims’ review meetings to proactively develop strategy for significant workers’ compensation claims.
- Enlisting the expertise of other professionals with whom we have relationships to effectively manage claims (e.g. private investigators, occupational health providers, industrial hygienists).
- Advising on all aspects of workplace health and safety, including compliance with laws such as the ADA, FMLA, OSHA, HIPAA, psychological issues in the workplace, return-to-work issues and leave-of-absence issues.
- Training management/staff on workplace health and safety issues, using our Graydon Head Interactive format.
