Greiner Receives Award from the Ohio SPJ

(Cincinnati, Ohio) Graydon Head partner John C. Greiner was awarded the Ohio Society of Professional Journalist (SPJ) Award for Best Defense of the First Amendment for his contribution to "Lead's Dangerous Legacy.” Greiner received the award at the Ohio SPJ Awards 2007 on October 27. He shared the award with Sharon Coolidge and the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Greiner’s practice at Graydon Head is concentrated areas of commercial litigation, media and First Amendment law. He has considerable practice experience in courts throughout the state, as well as federal courts and bankruptcy courts. His work has included litigation of disputes over a variety of contracts, First Amendment issues, wrongful terminations and non-competition covenants.
Greiner has been named a “Leading Lawyer” by Cincy Business Magazine and has been recognized as one of the Best Lawyers in America for his work in Commercial Litigation and First Amendment Law. He is recognized with an
AV Rating, the highest rating given to lawyers by Martindale-Hubbell. Greiner earned his B.A.,
cum laude, in Political Science/Economics from Miami University and his J.D.,
cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame.
