Public Service

As the oldest continuing general practice law firm in Greater Cincinnati, the Firm's roots date to its founding in 1871 when Stanley Matthews and William Ramsey established the law firm now known as Graydon Head & Ritchey. A distinguishing mark of the firm from its earliest days has been the willingness of its members to involve themselves in the life of the larger community. The Firm’s roster has included many distinguished members, perhaps most notably those who have committed themselves to public service. In addition to countless members who have served as Chairmen and Trustees of local civic and charitable organizations, many of our alum have served in appointed or elected government posts.
